By accessing or using Tala (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies referenced herein.We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Tala is a reading and focus companion designed to help users build consistent reading habits through timers, animations, and optional tracking features. Tala is intended for general informational and motivational purposes only.
All content within the Service, including animations, characters, designs, text, graphics, audio, and software, is owned by or licensed to DenHeen LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. No part of the Service may be copied, modified, distributed, sold, or exploited without our prior written consent.If you submit content to the Service (such as notes, feedback, or optional user input), you grant DenHeen LLC a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, and operate that content within the Service.
ACCOUNTS AND ACCESS
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to safeguard your account information.You agree to provide accurate and complete information when using the Service.
Tala does not provide medical, mental health, educational, or professional advice. Content within the Service is not a substitute for professional guidance, diagnosis, or treatment.You use the Service voluntarily and at your own discretion. Individual experiences and outcomes may vary, and no specific results are guaranteed.
Tala may offer optional subscriptions or in-app purchases. All billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the platform provider (such as Apple’s App Store or Google Play Store), not by DenHeen LLC.Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal rules are governed by the applicable app store policies.
You agree not to:
Use the Service for unlawful or abusive purposes
Attempt to interfere with the Service’s operation
Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service
Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DenHeen LLC and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including loss of data or interruption of service.Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DenHeen LLC, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution shall survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles.Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Maricopa County, Arizona, on an individual basis. You waive the right to participate in class actions or jury trials.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DenHeen LLC regarding the Service.
